14th August 1947 is the date that made us Pakistanis to reach the position we have presently achieved in our individual capacities. The significance of Independence Day resides more firmly in the hearts of those who value freedom (which should be clearly distinguished from the much talked about liberalism). On 14th August 1947, Pakistan appeared on the map of globe. This is the day that gave Indian Muslims a separate piece of land to practice Islam in every walk of life. It was the demand of Indian Muslims which was demonstrated by them in the elections of 1945-46.

Our politicians and government machinery too sometimes appear to be confused. Someone clearly outsider is playing inside Pakistan. Discussions and interests on international level are very intimidating.

When Gaza war started I abandoned TV, newspaper etc after watching dead bodies of three kids in a newspaper. I kept myself buried in books and being with family, every time avoiding to watch TV particularly news channels making excuses, not letting them(family) what was going on in my mind.I had no idea of what was going on there in Gaza strip. Then through a very unusual source I came to know about www.save-humans.org. It was the time when Israel had stopped bombing and admins of the site had sent the aid .All was done.

Whenever we talk about Palestine, an image of golden dome appears in our mind. Previously like many I had this wrong impression that the golden dome was Al-Aqsa mosque. Only recently I came to know about the difference between the two important premises of the Islamic world.
